I’ve been using this product once a week for a month and I’ve definitely noticed some significant changes in my hair. I have 4d hair type, so my hair is really thick and coarse. It’s so thick in fact that I suffer from dry scalp. When I wash it under warm or hot water it’s hard to tell the difference between the two because I can’t feel it on my scalp. Now that’s some pretty thick hair!

After every wash I would see extreme flaking! Partially due to the temperature of the water drying out my hair, and also from genetics in general. This caused my hair to look very dry and ashy. Wild Hair growth gets rid of the ashy look for days! Not only that, but it’s given volume to my hair in the thinner areas and aided in growth. I don’t believe that the growth is a placebo because my hair was pretty uneven before I started using this product. And within a month, the weaker areas have gain volume. But, not enough to be as long as my stronger areas. And that’s just natural. I will still be able to get starter locs without issue.

I am glad that I found and tried this product. The only issue I have is the smell. I would not use this product before going to work, school or on a date because it does smell. I would use it the night before so the smell will die down before you awake the next day and start your activities. But, the other benefits outweigh this one con. It’s definitely worth giving a try. Use it for a while and draw your own conclusions. It’s not going to work after one or two applications. Use it for a month or two and see if it works for you. If you already have long hair I would assume that you might not see much of a difference. But coming from someone growing a fro for starter locs, this is a good product!
